Quote A London double decker bus has crashed into the entrance of a busy supermarket in south-west London. (http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/57759000/jpg/_57759129_photo1.jpg) Police were called to reports of a number 28 bus having crashed into a Sainsbury's supermarket on Garratt Lane, in Wandsworth, at 10:45 GMT. It is thought the bus was also involved in a collision with a road sweeper, a Scotland Yard spokesman said. No-one was injured in the crash and Garratt Lane is closed while police investigate. BBC London 94.9 reporter Jason Rosam, who was at the scene, said: "Normally at this time on a Sunday the Garratt Lane, in Wandsworth, is packed with shoppers." "There's lots of debris from the fences on the side of the road and also the traffic lights which seem to have been smashed by the bus. "The front of the bus is severely damaged - glass everywhere. "Eyewitness have told me there are not any injuries. There were people on the bus at the time but everyone seems to have escaped quite well from this." ::) This page is printed from the "Coffee Shop" forum at http://gwr.passenger.chat which is provided by a customer of Great Western Railway.
