Regulated fares are to increase by 4.6% and most railcards by £5.

So back to RPI (Revenue Protection Inspector (or Retail Price Index, depending on the context))+1% again.....

Be interested to know why this is - Chancellor states that she would entertain a request for an increase if operators were to ask for it. Why would they when there's nothing in it for them? But I reckon it's a dead cert frankly.
