This year's Tavistock Food and Drink Festival will feature an even wider range of produce, say organisers (link below.)

The festival, on July 26 and 27, is also accepting two local exhibitors who are offering non-regional food. From Brentor, importer and Pannier Market trader Carol Ellis-Lizana will be showing off her Spanish olives, olive oil and ceramics, while from Plymouth, ML Thai Foods will be cooking Thai curry, noodles, spring rolls and pork on bread, using local produce wherever possible.

This year's festival will focus on how everyone can reduce their food miles by buying directly from local producers.

More than 100 cheeses will be available, plus pickles and chutneys from more than half a dozen regional craft producers.
