From the North Somerset Times: Funding approved to progress railway dreamThe next phase of preparation works for the re-opening of the Portishead^s railway line has been given the green light. After considering an updated report on the rail project yesterday ... Brilliant! A 7 year old ticket from the South-East used to illustrate an article about plans to re-open a railway line in the West. The best 'irrelevant' I've seen thus far. Oh, and in case anybody is wondering.... that fare now costs ^24.60

Also a Class 180 in the same picture... Yes... Completely irrelevant that one considering 180's no longer serve a railway line even remotely near to Cornwall. Infact, have they ever been to Cornwall?

Good question. Furthest West I can think of is Plymouth.

Indeed, I note that there is an admonitory ... er, note, to the journalist responsible for that particular article on their website.

thetrout, the only class 180 that comes up on Google images is of the Mercedes c180 variety, for sale at a local car dealer. There is also a rail-sim style picture of a 180 in the shed at Penzance, but that is only a sim so we wont take that as evidence of a class 180 in penzance.

From the North Somerset Times: Change to bus serviceA bus company which serves Clevedon has changed the name of its vehicles to avoid confusion for customers. Bristol Greyhound Limited has changed the name of its buses from Greyhound to Pier Buses UK▸ , so its vehicles are not confused with First^s Greyhound service. Bristol Greyhound runs the X7 from Bristol to Clevedon. That image is even named "yellow_bus_wheel" as a tacit acknowledgement that it is not specific to any story about local buses ...
