Depending on where you're located, both are usually available in and around Taunton - just a case of which direction your tv aerial is pointing - towards Mendip, or towards Stockland Hill. Or it used to be, in analogue days
I even remember being able to get Wales Today back then (this was north Taunton though so may not have been possible everywhere in the town). Everyone seemed to have their aerials pointing towards Mendip but this may have been different elsewhere.

Journey by Journey / Shorter journeys in Plymouth and Cornwall / Re: St Erth Signal Box

I'm not sure of the actual location of the fringe, but from St Erth 'box towards Plymouth, it's Track Circuit Block (using axle counters) controlled by Roskear. Towards Penzance, it's Absolute Block to Ponsandane and from there, where the line becomes single, it's TCB▸ to the terminus. I think I remember correctly (from more than 50 years ago) that the Down Main line to Ponsandane is track circuited, so that the Penzance signaller can give "train out of section" to St Erth as soon as a down train clears onto the single iine towards Penzance, without having to wait to see the tail lamp as the train passes the actual signal box at Penzance
AFAIK▸ it's still AB from St Erth to the first stop signal controlled by Roskear Junction with a tail lamp camera provided to allow Train out of section to be sent once the train has cleared the section. Unfortunately the Down Main from St Erth to Marazion did not become fully track circuited in the 1974 scheme, the 1974 Sectional Appendix says that for any train heading for Long Rock depot or No 1 siding, the guard must inform the Penzance signalman whether or not the train is complete with tail lamp. I'm not sure why a tail lamp camera was never provided here since when St Erth was switched out late at night it could be quite a restrictive arrangement.

Not GWR▸ related (sorry!) but the XC▸ Manchester Piccadilly services are shown as hourly with some running to / from Paignton.
Also seems Plymouth is finally back to hourly throughout the day after what will have been more than three years with some two hour gaps in service. Not sure about the diagramming but could this mean more single Voyager workings?

The early morning fast Plymouth service is no more. Instead, there will be 0600 via Bristol service, calling at Reading, Didcot Parkway, Swindon, Chippenham, Bath Spa, Bristol Temple Meads, Bridgwater, Taunton, Tiverton Parkway, Exeter St Davids, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and as then as before to Penzance. This does however still provide an arrival in Plymouth before 1000 which I believe was one of the reasons the current 0637 was introduced.
A three hour public journey time to Plymouth will still be possible though with the 1004 to run non-stop between Reading and Exeter (as it used to do when it was the 1006 Cornish Riviera before December 2019) with a public arrival time in Plymouth of 1304 (1305 WTT▸ ).
