From National Rail: Disruption between London Paddington and Reading expected until 12:00 Route(s) affected between London Paddington and Reading Description Due to the police dealing with an incident between London Paddington and Slough, all lines are currently closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Looking at Open Train Times Maps it looks like the incident is at Ealing Broadway with trains currently backed up along the Up Main as far as Langley - however just checking again before I press 'Post', it would appear that trains are just starting to move again.

With the Henley Regatta this weekend there couldn't be a worse time for this: Due to a tree blocking the railway between Twyford and Henley-On-Thames the line is blocked. Impact: Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until 10:30 06/07. Customer Advice: We're sorry for the delay to your journey. AIUI^▸ (as I understand it) it the train involved is 1C10 10:30 PAD^» (Paddington (London) - next trains)-WSM and the incident occured near Hanwell. This appears to be confirmed by Open Train Times and from this post on X from a passenger on board that (looking backwards) clearly shows signal SN232 which is the junction signal on the UR for the curve round to Drayton Green: https://twitter.com/MetalDetectorUK/status/1755547860089639173
