Does anyone know what the rake of Pullman/Golden Arrow (Fleche d'or) coaches with attending locos was doing at temple meads yesterday afternoon - though it did make for a nice change especially the view from platform 10 with FGW▸ , southwest trains and this train all visable

All across the Great Western territory / Fare's Fair / getting to Chepstow

I'm confused - why is an anytime single at ^22.05 ( me and small person) from Weston to Chepstow @ 07.37 & 08.39 on 27/11/10 cheaper than the off peak fare of ^33.05 shown at 09.10 & 10.10. I presume any anytime ticket would be valid on the later routes unless the missing fact is that these take you to Cheltenham then south to chepstow, whilst the cheaper option is via the seemingly more sensible Severn Ttunnel Junction/newport route

08:26 Great Malvern to Westbury @ 11:36 First Great Western service from Great Malvern to Westbury
