A big "THANK YOU" to everyone who has posted so far to Member roll call thread.  And a hint to those of you who have not yet posted there to do so please, if you feel comfortable so doing.

We have some pretty amazing people here in our midst. Experiences and actions are often hidden, and I read many posts with a "wow". Those who have posted are, without exception, a remarkable bunch.  But then, we are all remarkable. And that includes the naturally introvert, and younger member who don't yet have a long CV-of-life to post, and those who have chosen a quieter life and/or a life in which our transport theme is just a very thin thread and not a flowing river.

I treasure the friendships here, and looking around it shows that others do too. In these current, unprecedented times, such friendships are golden. Forum visitor numbers are slightly down, with the drop being in guests. The number of pages viewed on each visit has risen - 5.6 to 7.2 last week and the same week last year but the number of visits down from 5498 to 4725; overall a 10.5% rise in pages read. Posts up from 515 to 610 - an 18.5% rise. Similar stats if I look back a month.

Again - thank you for sharing in the member roll call thread.  Please feel free to add your story too - as much or little as you like.  And although the forum has shifted towards a group of friends in the last month, we are still very much open for public reading of more than 4 posts out of 5, and look forward to others joining and posting if they wish.
